This website is deceiving and intentionally misled people to believe that they are official gov website. But it is not. It caused me money and time, plus worries about identity theft.

On Wed, May 29, 2013 I was applying for the US citizenship, and found this website from Google. The site appears like the official gov website. The tab of US Citizenship led me to a page that has a big red tab button "START YOUR APPLICATION". The tab made me believe that USCIS has made the citizenship simple and online. The word "online" is right above the big tab. I clicked the tab, which got me to start an account. After that, the payment page started. I hesitated and signed out. Next today, I got a phone voice message that indicated my incomplete citizenship application and asked me to call Diane 888-975-2054 ext 358. I was surprised with the amazing government efficiency! I called the number back on Friday/May 31. The phone was busy. I left a message. I had a firm believe that they are USCIS. I then completed the credit payment form for $199, and received an email receipt. I continued inputting N-400 information and completed Saturday/June 1 morning. Now the website told me to print out the form and send the completed form N400 to USCIS together with photos etc. THERE IS NO efile! I began to think that this might be a scam. Reading the receipt carefully and dcambook.com, indeed this is a scam website.

I went to bank right away, cancelled my credit card, and started a fraud protection package.

So I have stopped my money payment to us-immigration.com. But the cancellation of my credit card caused much collateral damage for me. I am also worried about my SSN and other personal identity information in the us-immigration.com system.

N-400 is absolutely free from charge from the USCIS website. I actually had N-400 pdf form filled up a month ago. The US-immigration.com online application deceived me.

us-immigration.com is a scam. Google has some responsibility as well. When one gooles "us citizenship application" or "uscis", us-immigration appears first, before uscis.gov.

To protect consumers, Federal Trade Commission, FBI and USCIS should get involved and launch an investigation on us-immigration.com and google and make sure that consumers rights and personal identity information be protected, and victims monetary damage be recovered.

We have answered with the following and will be more than willing to help if any additional information is needed.

We apologize for the inconvenience encountered while accessing our website. It is not our intention to mislead anyone to believe that we are the official government website. We provide a service to help prepare immigration forms. We are not the USCIS and we do provide information about what services and products our website provides, including a comparison of our website to the government’s, and where to get the forms at no cost on our home page.
Our online service simplifies the forms and walks customers through the applications by asking individual questions and making sure all answers coincide and are up to government standards. Our service is designed to prepare many immigration forms online, but unfortunately the USCIS does not allow for electronic filing of many forms, including the form to apply for citizenship. Once completing the service, the system will provide a completed form with simple customized instructions detailing which documents to send and how to properly mail everything to the USCIS.
Our service provides a preparation service, it is not a scam. We are aware that a lot of personal information is required to complete these forms and therefore have a secure server in place to protect all of our customer’s information.
If our services were not at all useful, we do allow for the cancellation of services and refunds when appropriate. Please feel free to contact us for any further assistance.

    Thank you,
    American Immigration Center
