We were looking for a travel trailer and found 2003 Airstream on e-bay and bid on it. Subsequently we were told that our bid was accepted. The received an e-mail saying the item was taken off the site. Later we received an e-mail from Cynthia saying she noticed we were the high bidder and she would sell to us through e-bay for 7300.00. Ebay would send us the information on how to proceed. We received an invoice and instructions from ebay, which appeared to be authentic. We wired the funds to a holding bank, Bank of America in Memphis, TN,to a Matthew C. Rawson as a "verified eBay Motors Financial Agent. I have tried to contact eBay without success. Still wondering if I've been had.

I talked to ebay today and they verified this was a scam by this person.

- Yea just got took for 5500, freakin (Inappropriate Content Removed), yet ebay still doesn't report this fraud to the fbi, marty contact the fbi I will also, I have numbers saved, fbi should be able to.track them
