My complaint about VS Revo Group at Techzilla and MyTechHelp.com

On April 15th. I purchase a 1-Terabit External Memory Driver for $149.99 with rebate so that, 90 days later the drive will only cost me $14.99. From my bank account at total of $164.94 was withdrawn. A couple weeks later I got the drive in the mail and tried to install it but it wouldn't work. The light keep blinking so I knew it had power but it wouldn't register on my computer's USB ports. So, on May 7th, after I got back from a trip to Anaheim and Huntington Beach I went on-line to MyTechHelp.com and worked with Mr. Jurvin #20850. It seemed that the memory drive just didn't register on my computer. Mr. Jurvin #20850 took over control of my computer and every time he told me to put the drive cable into my computer's ISB ports, the new drive just wouldn't register. However when I placed a 16 G memory stick in the ports, it showed right away.

Mr. Jurvin #20850 was very helpful but after about 45 minutes of tests he determined that the drive his company sent me was defective and I should mail it back to his company in Florida but I'd have to pay for the cost of mailing. Mr. Jurvin #20850 was sorry I had this problem and said the company would mail me another drive right away. He said that this type of problem never happened and he was very upset. In fact he felt so sorry that he'd send me a mouse and keyboard for free because of my inconvenience. As a special offer I could paid in advance only $49.99 and after 90 or 120 days I'd have the items for free and the company would be happy to send my money back or cancel the charge on my credit card. I thanked Mr. Juvin #20850 for his company's kind offer but that I had just purchased a new wireless mouse and keyboard so I didn't need those items his company was offering. However, I'd be happy if I got a working external memory drive so I could get my computer's backup completed. Mr. Jurvin #20850 told me I just had to call a toll free number to get the drive sent that very day. The number is: 1 866 827-7229. I thanked Mr. Jurvin #20850 as by this time we'd bonded but, I still asked him for if possible, some kind of verification number for this problem I was having. Mr. Jurvin #20850 gave me what he called a "case number" 02059770 and I thanked him again.

Next I called 1 866 827-7229 and talked with Odesha #783810. I told her my story and she asked me all the same questions, the name on the account, Paul Broussard, Paul's email address: (Personal Information Removed). Our mailing address:(Personal Information Removed)and phone number (Personal Information Removed). Then Ms. Odesha #783810 had me wait 6 minutes while she "checked the records". Ms. Odesha #783810 came back on the line to inform me that I had to mail, at my expense, the unresponsive drive back to the company. That they would check the drive out before they'd send me another drive. I asked her how long that would take and she said it all depended on how long it took for me to mail the drive back to the company in Florida. Smartly kind of answer if you'd have asked me at the time and I told her I'd mail it tomorrow. She gave me the mailing address in Florida: Global Response, 3580 N.W. 56th Street. Suite 100 Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309 saying it would be maybe 14 days or longer.

I told Ms. Odesha #783810 that was not acceptable. That it was to long of a time period and that I needed to get my computer backup completed as quickly as possible. I explain to her that I couldn't understand why the company can't send me the drive right away. Ms. Odesha #783810 told me it took this period of time because they had to test the drive to find out what was wrong. I told Ms. Odesha #783810 that I felt the company was not being reasonable and pointed out that I didn't say the drive was defective, it was the company's own Mr. Jurvin #20850 that made that call. So I'm on my way to the post office to get some kind of expensive registered mail service and I'm not sure I'll ever get the 1-terabite external memory drive much less a rebate promised in 90-days. It all got started with me wanting to backup my computer when a sales guy or should I say "support technician" from MyTechHelp.com suggested that I get a external memory drive so now I'm having to spend time writing a letter of complaint, mailing defective equipment to Florida and my computer backup is still waiting for a new external memory. Please help me if you can.

Sincerely,
Gary T. Bruton
