They were supposed to refund our 575 GBP deposit, minus 120 GBP for yardwork. We never received the balance of 455 GBP (around $682) even though we moved out in July 2012. I have sent numerous emails, and he always says the are "still waiting for" something.
Company is Ashby's Lettings in Bovey Tracey, Devon, England. Russel Baker is the manager, but I have always CC'd a copy of the emails to the Real Estate (Estate Agent) company that own it, also Ashby's to no avail.

Ashbys have now been sold to 'Complete@ estate agents. It is rumoured that Russell Baker is something to do with Ashtons Lettings also in Bovey Tracey. He owes a lot of people a lot of money. And personally know someone owed their deposit back. I would pay for a company check on Ashtons and see if you can find if he is a drector then go after him persoanlly in small claims court by using money claim online website which during business have had success with. Dont mention my name if you do manage to get hold of him as my company is currently trying to extract money from him as well. -
