iI had a repair man come to my house from Hyde Park Appliance Repair in Hyde Park, Ma. The first day he came out was June 18, 2013. He came out to fix my refrigerator. I purchased a part that was expensive. I had suspicions, because he said he had done things to the fridge, which I knew that he did not do. I called back the next day to let him know the fridge was not working. He came out with a repair part, a part that he told me yesterday was working fine. I thought it was suspicious that he had brought it, especially when he said it was not need the day before. The repair spent almost two hours basically taking the ice maker apart, which I did not understand, because it was never hooked up since I bought it. Then he kept unscrewing the panel in the fridge over and over. He basically was just unscrewing the same thing in and out. I turned around for about three seconds, and bolted out the house. I asked him where is he going, and he replied I'll be right back,and he put his toolbox in the pick up truck and left. He left with my part from the day before, and wires just hanging in the back of the refrigerator. I threw food away yesterday from the fridge and also today. I went online, and I found out that he had bad reviews, and people stating he was a scam artist. I checked his business address, and found out that it was a three family house. I also, found out, that he had different addresses for his business,and different phone numbers. He ran off with my money. I know have to pay for another appliance repair man. I also lost $300 in food.
