I purchased a gentle-treatment relaxer on 03/05/13. Have been using this perm for over 20 years and never any problem. Immediately after using the perm I noticed a tingling sensation to my scalp. Never did this before in all the years of using this product.Started looking for expiration date on product, did not see one but enclosed in the box was a coupon for $1.00 off which was valid from 05/01/11-03/31/12.I rinsed my hair again and the next morining I woke up to almost half of my hair gone.Needless to say I was horrified. After endless searching I finally got a contact number for Johnson and was told by a Tabitha Odell to send before and after pictures and she sent me a letter apoligizing and stated she was hopeful we could reach an amicable resolution. After sending the requested information and numerous calls to the company after a month of not hearing anything I was finally told the info had not been received. I then re-sent the info by certified mail and after numerous calls again was told the info still had not been received. I contacted the post office and the post master from my home town called to the post office in Savannah and she said the packet had been sitting at the post office unclaimed. Now I cannot reach Ms Odell at all. Will not receive or return my calls. Please help. It has been very humiliating and embarrassing what has happened to my hair and all I'm asking is $300-350 to purchase a decent wig to cover my head up. Although my hair has grown back some it still has a ways to go.

Had swelling in face also. I did not seek medical treatment because I was too devastated, embarrassed and humiliated to be seen. i literally looked like a monster.
