I've been paying for this club membership over two and a half years. Currently my balance is more than the original purchase price ($4000.00) even though I've been paying twice the minimum monthly payment ($150.00). I seems the interest rate increases in order to absorb the payment remitted. I never understood why the statements reflect a minimum monthly payment that is lower than the finance charge. I've attempted to contact customer services several times with no success. After calculating all the payments I have made to these "thiefs", I realize they have been repaid over $5000.00 so my statements should reflect a much lesser balance than $5400.00. To make matters worse, I have never used the services because when I've tried, they wanted to charge me an additional $400.00 just to book a vacation.
Effective July 2011, I am no longer remitting a cent to Global Discovery Vacations - payment or no payment, this account has damaged my credit eitherway. When a company lacks customer service it doesn't care about its members - it's a wolf disguised as a lamb, it is a scam.
