The internet division came out with a cheaper program which they have now stopped.I had been paying about $70.00 a moth for my internet.The mailer I recieved said I could get 8 meg for $45.00 a month,verse`s 5GB that I was getting at the time.I don`t know a meg from a gegabite.So I thought it was a great deal and the person on the phone didn`t tell me that it would be faster,but you had to pay for more time.I was using my computer and all of a sudden it shut off.I called and they told me I had used up my time and would have to pay more od waite for the next month.I called the division that I had already had and told them to switch me back to the program that I had.They did that day,,,,,,he also promised me he would call and cancel the other.That was my mistake because you can`t trust anyone anymore.So the $45.00 a mothe month division kept billing me for service and then turned me over to a collection company,which didn`t help my Credit.I called the phone company and they flat told me they were not going to do anything about it.So,,,,I contacted the collection company and paid the bill and got it in Paper sent to me that I paid it.I also called Trans Union and told them the story and that I wanted the bill expunged off my record because it wasn`t my fault.They sent me a letter saying that it had been removed.I ran across this forum and still want my money back.I kept paying the $70.00 a moth without a stop in the internet.Hence I have changed to cable and it is 10 times faster for the same amount of money.I don`t know if you can help or not.I`m a Retired Vietnam vet and have to watch every dollar.Thanks,Kenneth Wade (Personal Information Removed).I saw a equfax report and it was still there.It should be gone period.I didn`t owe the money!
