International boundaries
Stopped by people on a motorbike with scratch cards. Told we had won a weeks vacation. Went to the so called 90 minute presentation which lasted 3 hours. Convinced to buy a 3 year holiday package as we couldn't afford the lifetime one (thankfully).
Spoke to others on our return home to NZ who told us we had been scammed. We have since tried to contact a few of the hotels Absolute say they are affiliated to and they have never heard of them. We have only paid the initial deposit but would love to get it back!
