I just got a call from a man saying I was appproved for a grant from USFinicialResorces. It was hard to understand him because he had a Indian accent. His name was also John Parker. He said that the grant money could be used for anything. I told him I would be using the money for school. All of a sudden he tells me I have to pay a $3.00 dollar fee to set up my account. When he told me this, I told him I was not comfortable giving my information over the phone. He then passed me to his manager and I told him the same. As I soon as I told the manager no, he quickly passed his phone back to his subordinate. It was just rude. Both men were persistent on the fee and had a accent. I googled the company and found scambook. Soon after I respectfuly told him that I am not interested and hang up.
