I received an email for a 30% discount on any warranty if it was done on June 28. I tried buying a three-year warranty on my new iPad 2 that I just bought on eBay. The company would not take the transaction number online, so I called and was told that they would cover only up to $500 on a $756 item because it had been bought on eBay from an Australian company. The supervisor was adamant about telling Carla Mendoza that it would not be responsible for more than that.
Nowhere in its postings does Square Trade indicate that overseas purchases have limited ceilings on coverage.
