breach of contract and false advertising
My husband and I went through LHG to help with mortgage modification since we couldn't get any satisifaction from our mortagage company Flagstar bank, after LHG received their funds for so called lawyer fees, they asked that we send the necessary paperwork, we did, and after a week I started email them for updates on our case, I received several emails from different people stating that everything was going as planned and that all necessary paper were filed and that the mortagage company had been notified, and that our loan was frozen until our modification was finished, so we would not have to worry about foreclosure, they told us if we received any notices from the mortgage company to send it to them as they were our attorneys and they would take care of it, then on September 31, 2011, we received foreclosure papers in the mail, I immediately got on the phone, just got voicemail, then I emailed everyone I had had contact with to ask what was going on, and to this day no one had contacted me back, thanks to these scam artists, we may lose our home, I think that this company should have to pay for monetary damages plus all the mortgage payments that were not paid while they took our money and ran.
Plus all parties involved should do jail time, I consider myself somewhat intellegent, but they fooled me, everything looked legal, right down to the website, official paperwork, official emails, etc.
