This company is staffed with liars. Sorry to use such a strong word, but no other way to put it. I received a statement before receiving a card. The statement said a payment was due in 4 or 5 days from receipt. I called to let them know I didn't feel it was right to have a payment due in so few days, especially when I hadn't even received the card yet. I was told that my payment due date was moved up to the 1st, and a new card was being mailed out. I was planning to pay my balance in full on the 30th. I kept checking their site when I did receive my card to make sure they moved the payment date up. No payment due date was shown; the field was blank. I figured they needed time to update their system to show the new due date. Today I logged in and it says my account is past due and it lists the original due date of the 18th. I don't appreciate the associate I spoke with last time assuring me he had 'moved the payment date to the 1st' and today after an 'account review a payment change request is in process.' NOw I have a late pay from the gate. I assume their fee will be $35, but I don't know as they supply no new account paperwork with their cards. Obviously this company wants to keep everyone in the dark. I didn't even know I was $81 in the hole from fees when I started until I received that first bill. Fees okay I understand. But I do not appreciate being outright lied to by the associate I spoke with prior to today. I haven't been this angry in years...:(
