Last December we started receiving a fax with a form that looked like it was asking to confirm our Government and Corporate rates. Soon after we started receiving invoices for our hotel being placed in some Government directory. I called the number and left a message stating that I did not authorize the hotel to be listed in any Government directory and all new accounts or charges would have to be approved by the corporate office.
I did not receive a call back for my first call but I continued to get invoices. The most recent invoice was for 450.00 and I again called and left a message stating that I could not pay the invoice and the charges were not authorized. Jack responded to that invoice by calling and harassing the front desk agent who answered the phone. He was so rude the agent ended up hanging up on him.
I called back and again left them a message stating the charges were not authorized and I could not pay the invoice. This time it was Rita that called back, she was very rude on the phone and told the front desk agent that if we were not going to pay the invoice she would go on TripAdvisor and say the hotel had Bed Bugs. She also used profane language with the front desk agent that answered her call, when he hung up she would call back.
Today I received a mailed copy of the form they said I signed and sent back to them, they also sent a copy of the listing in their directory which they claim is being handed out to 1300 government offices. I didn't sign anything so the only thing I can think of is one of the desk agents filled it out and faxed it back to them thinking it was a form to confirm our corporate and government rates. National Telecommunications is nothing more then a scam company fishing for a response to their faxed bait. No way would a legit company respond to a billing issue by acting like that.
