It's sad because Im afraid that my identity is now at risk. I been trying to apply for a loan I have received multiple calls from different places around the USA all of which these people speak foreign so you can barely understand they know my social and my banking information , but with Payday Loan of America I spoke to Michael who spoke foreign of course , he seemed very nice he gave me his extension and the phone number was a NY number. He told me I was approved for a loan of a $1000 I told him all I needed was $800 he said that the min was $1000 me not being aware at the time this was a SCAM I agreed to go through he verified the information I submitted online and told me I would have the money in my account by 1:48pm EST abd i woukd pay $101 a month, he told me then he eould run my credit just to tell me my credit was bad ! He told he he would have to get in contact with the Account People and then he called back to say that I needed to show the Accounting Department that I was able to pay off the loan so I was a little confused ! I googled the company just to confirm this was real and came across this site the first link I read the reviews and immediately knew that this was a SCAM in the making. Now, I called back to see and told him I had the money and what I needed to do, ((I really didn't have it or why would I need a loan right ?!?)) he then told me to find my local Walgreens or Walmart or CVS that sells green dot Money Pak and I had to purchase it and give then the numbers off the card. I then told him I wasn't interested and to cancel my application he got upset and told me I would never receive money from them and my application was cancelled ! I'm still recieving multiple calls from different people about a damn PAYDAY loan! screw it ! They have all my info so now I have to cancel my account and get a new one and check to see if my social is being ran! PAYDAY loans are a SCAM if they call from a local number and not no 877 or 888 800 && they barely speak English then don't do it !! I should have never applied to these companies cause it's just wasnt this one. But you live and learn !
