The download was $30.27 and the repair that was required to repair the mess they made was $99.00.
Downloaded the program 7/29. When I opened the computer this morning, the start bar along the bottom of the screen was bright white; my Norton 360 desktop icon was gone. When I called support, Penn kept asking the same question: "When did I install the program."
He kept doing the same thing over and over for 1-1/2 hours and turned all the tabs, bottom tray and task bars BLACK. Therefore, I couldn't read the tabs to do processes. Went back online and requested senior techs. They kept directing me to tabs that could not be read -- ALL BLACK -- which I kept telling them.
And they set my computer so it could NOT be restored to an earlier date.

After three hours, I gave up. The support was ineffective and useless. I called a computer technician who corrected everything and got my computer operating again.

I originally subscribed to the service because they said I had 18 drivers out of date. None of my drivers are out of date. They were checked by a computer professional technician.

So the company is not honest, and the support is worthless.
