I have recently been looking for unsecured loans due to a recent unforeseen healthcare crisis and as a result rather desperately applied online for a loan which was with what I thought was a 'locator'. Over the past few days I have received MANY calls from the same representative indicating that I have been 'successfully approved for 2000.00. On 7/30/13 I finally answered one of the calls out of desperation and spoke with a heavily accented 'Alex Cooper' who informed me that I was approved for 2000.00 and what did I need the money for. I explained that I had unforeseen medical costs upwards of 2000.00. The 'gentleman' then put me on the line with another 'supervisor' heavily accented 'James Watson' who then informed me that I had to travel to my nearest Rite Aid or Radio Shack and call him back from that location. I made noises about how strange of a loan process this was, and why? 'Mr Watson' sounded somewhat miffed that I resisted and disdainfully explained that since my credit was essentially so crappy that they needed to ensure my ability to pay and by going to purchase a 'verification voucher' and loading my cash on hand onto it, they would be able to see my cash on hand. So I 'agreed' to call him back in approx 25 min ( since I made him look up my nearest location to purchase this 'voucher')and he gave me a direct line to call him on. Thank god for this website..he hung up and i quickly found you guys and realized HOW AWFUL this scam is and how extensive! I waited 20 minutes and called 'ALEX COOPER' back ( really?) and he cheerfully asked me if I was at the ' location'. Well...I then informed Mr Cooper that I WAS NOT THAT STUPID and how dare he and his cronies try to scam me and others with this crap!! Well...he became all flustered and could not speak..I'm still listening on the line ( FUMING!!) heard a bunch of scuffling ..lol.. and Mr. Watson got on the line and again, rather disdainfully asked what the problem was. That was a mistake. So. I also let him know what I thought of him, and that I had the link up to FBI on my screen at that moment ( does that exist??) and I was preparing to report his butt. So. they hung up on me. About 15 minutes later they called back. And I informed them again that I was SICK of the lies and NOT WILLING TO AGREE TO ANY LOANS. PS..the next day they must have called me 15 times. While I was sitting in a public office I put them on speaker phone and let them go through the schtick ( did they forget me from yesterday?) I informed them that I was sitting in the PD dept. filing a complaint as we speak, and thank you for confirming my story with the local authorities....they hung up. TODAY..a girl named 'stephanie' keeps leaving me voicemails (had to block my phone from all the scammers) from GE CAPITAL to inform me that I have 'been successfully approved for a loan" and the phone numbers. I have a sick feeling this is not over. I have found that the people doing this use GE Capital and EZ Loan Finance, among other names. Cash Advance has blown up my email and my phone as well. I have all the contact numbers for all those people they left-if anyone wants them! I AM SO DISGUSTED with myself for having to even deal with this level of (Inappropriate Content Removed)! NEVER AGAIN!
