Man claiming to be raising money to take autistic children to a Shakesperian play. Told us he was a college student majoring in theatre and that his parents were neighbors on the next street. He was very charming and had his spiel down pat. He showed us checks that other neighbors had provided and provided anecdotes of his conversations with them. He provided us a receipt for our "donation". We didn't look at it until later, and realized it was a receipt for a magazine subscription. He initialed the receipt "T. Sparks".
