I got an e-mail from someone named Scott about a virtual assistant position where the pay is $2700 a month. I've been applying to a lot of jobs lately and there is actually a legitimate virtual assistant company in the city I live in so I decided to look into it a little more. However, the website, while functional, isn't legitimate, and there is no record of the company on anywhere else on the web. I finally found other complaints here which detailed the kind of scam they'll pulling. They haven't asked me for any information that I thought was dangerous yet, so I wasn't sure what the scam was until I found this website. They're a typical "we send funds to your account for clients and you transfer the money to them" but there's no actual money transferred to your account and you lose money.
