Applied via lolly loans. Had a charge of £69.95 from them which I cancelled and had confirmation of no monies taken. It took me through to Merrywood loans and I filled out the form but had trouble and when I noticed I would be charged the same amount through them as well I used their webform TWICE to cancel this application (I don't think I even completed the application anyway when I saw that as I've had no email confirmation only from Lolly Loans)

Money taken 31/7 (same day as money went into account) as a mother who relies on that money and not expecting it to be taken I was really annoyed. Called them and was told they would push trough 3-7 working days and email sent to manager as she couldn't see my cancellation request on system. 8/8 called back again to be told it was processing and will receive by start of following week - guess what no money. 12/8 called back and told it was sent on bacs run on 9/8 and I should receive by 14th - I found this odd as payment was sent on card and was told it was refunding to card. Call back today 15/8 to be told it wasn't sent on 9th as wrong bank details (I know they weren't wrong as I used my bank statement to fill it out!) and that it was bank card refund on 12/8 so the lady I spoke to on 12/8 must've lied to me. I said it was rediculous and she told me it wasn't and not to call them back ever again and hung up! I called back to ask for complaint email and asked if it would be looked into as previous webforms have been ignored to be told not to be rediculous and hung up again. It seems as soon as you take your business away they have no regard for customer service at all. Now need to wait another 10days for it to come through - this take me past the 30days I originally sent the cancellation through to them although they have no record of that apparently. I will now recieve minus £5 for admin fees when it gets repaid. I am contacting my bank if nothing next week to see if they can help get it back in anyway as it should not have been taken (I have internet history that shows I used the web forms thankfully)
