I too have become scammed by getaway escapes, I was told I would be purchasing $99 flights to anywhere in Australia at anytime, so I purchased 2, for my son and me, at $207.99 including tax?? I then recieved my package from them and then realised that I had to buy expensive accomodation at about $1800 for 7 days minimum stay to use the flight tickets. which being a single mum I cannot afford.
when I purchased the flight tickets from pieta at Getaway escapes I precicly told her that I wanted to visit my daughter in Brisbane and she knew I would not be wanting accomodation and that I was a single mother on a pension and couldn't afford much, so she conned me into buying the tickets to save money on visiting my daughter! they are heartless conartists!! BEWARE!
