I went on the Epson website because of a problem I had with an Epson printer. (I could have fixed the problem myself if I had the savvy to navigate the proper screens.) The website directed me to call 855-388-7237, which I did. They asked for, and I gave them permission to control my computer and was told that my computer, an iMac, was riddled with corrupted files as the result of spyware, viruses, etc. . Thy sold me a package of protection for 419.99 after telling me the terms and conditions of the plsn were available on a website, http://techsupportcorner.com/terms-conditions.html, which turns out not to exist. Several hours on the phone with them in which they purported to e-mail me the terms and conditions were to no avail. They kept sending me files which turned out to be logs of our telephone conversations. I asked for a .pdf file or a snail-mailed copy, but the requests was ignored. I granted them access to my computer, paid $419.99 and got nothing.
