In December of 2012 TimeShareHotList called me regarding my interest in renting or selling my Hyatt Time Share. I wish to sell it and entered into an agreement where Time Share Hot List would market the property with an expected sale to occur within 90 days. If however it did not result in a sale Time Share Hot List would continue to list it for another 90 days at no additional cost and would provide a free vacation for me for their failure to execute a sale. A contract was sent and I signed up to sell and my credit card was charged $2,132.08 for the media fees for listing my time share. I was provided an email for following the activity which never coonnects, and a number to call for customer service that is always a recording asking to leave a message and someone will return the call, which never happens. This company is a total rip off and they should be put out of business and legal action brought upon them for perpetuating a fraud.

  • We regret to hear of your complaint Mr. Stagman and would like to take the opportunity to address your complaint. The customer has a contract with THL for advertising and marketing services. We have been providing those services as per the terms of the customers signed agreement. One of the benefits of working with THL is that you can continue to enjoy the property and advertise unused points or weeks when you want to generate income from the unit. While this benefit is great, a lot of owners neglect to contact us and let us know the unit is no longer available if they use it. In order to ensure that all of the properties we are advertising as current and available, we set up a 90 day renewal (located in the first paragraph of the contract) that comes at no cost to our customer. If you do not call to renew your account, the account will become inactive until you reach out to us again.

To date, our customer service email ([email protected]) does not contain any emails from the customer, and your account does not reflect that you've contacted us. Our last date of contact was February of 2013 where we contacted the customer to provide an update and remind of the 90 day renewal which was due in March. We request that you contact customer service to request to renew your account so that we can continue to assist you in your ultimate goal in the advertising of your timeshare. Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns.

    Sincerely,

    Customer Service
