I was contacted by telephone regarding a loan application I filled out online. This company told me that I had been pre qualified for the loan then proceeded to tell me that in order to receive my funds I would have to make the first payment. I proceeded to do so and they instructed me that they needed more money and kept demanding more money to ensure I would receive the loan. After I told them no I could not do that they became very hostile with me and told me that I could not have a refund of my original funds. This is a terrible scam and now I am going to end up homeless if this issue doesn't get resolved. The loan agent who spoke with a thick middle eastern accent told me his name was John Williams and told me he represented Cash Advance America. I requested to speak with a manager and he claimed he was the manager and demanded that I hang up the phone and told me he was only trying to help me. This kind of behavior is unacceptable is ridiculous and these companies need to be held accountable for their actions. The telephone number linked with this incident in question is 315-625-1291. I have all the receipts and necessary information.
