On or around April 7, 2013, my 16 Y/O daughter was looking for a Canada Goose Winter Jacket. She could not find one available anywhere except at 123Mountain.com. She was told it was available in stock and would take 4-6 days or so for shipping. She paid for it and to this date (August 30th, 2013) never got it. She asked me to call them to inquire. They told me that they had informed my daughter by email that the Jacket will not be available until December 2014, because it had to be hand-made. They said that they had sent my daughter several emails, and she agreed. My daughter promised me that she had never received or replied to any emails from them, and she had not agreed to anything except to get the jacket right away. We asked them for copies of their and my daughter's emails, and they never responded, except to warn us that if we dispute the transaction, they will report us to the credit agencies and to collection agencies who will adversely affect our credit rating. They finally agreed to cancel the order with 6% ($39) cancellation fee.

After more than a week, and not seeing the credit on my credit card account, I called them today to inquire. They initially told me that it would take more than 30 days to process the refund, but when I told them that I checked with the Bank and they confirmed that no credit has been processed, they changed the story.

Now they claim that my credit card is expired or the account is cancelled, so they want to either refund me with a check or store credit (credit store, in their own words!). I called my Bank and explained to them what had happened and Bank of America agreed to dispute the transaction on my behalf.

These people are not only on-line scammers, but they threaten you with destroying your credit if you insist on getting your money back. I don't think they realize that it is actually them who should be reported to the credit agencies for taking innocent people's money and not delivering the goods. What a scam! They should be pursued by the department of justice.
