I had an issue with Viper and called the phone number in the on line information for Viper. When the Indian Speaking gentlemen answered the phone he said he needed to look at my computer. He after looking at my computer on line said I had been hacked and it would require a tech to fix the issues. After some more friendly talk he told me it would cost $199.99 with total satisfaction. He asked me if there were any other computers on our Wi-Fi network, I told him yes. He told me that that computer was also compromised so I let him look at my second computer and he said oh yes it has many problems and it needed the same repair as the first computer and because two computers were being fixed the cost would only be $149.00 for the second one. I spent several hours on the phone with the tech who worked on the two computers. They told me that both computers were fixed. They put a supervisor on the phone and told me my computers were fixed. I said if they are fixed I will be satisfied. I told them I would work with the omputers and let them know. The next day I found more problems than after the fix then before. I just finished my 5th hour on the phone with I tech line and the first comoputer is still not right. They lost 12 years of my wife's pictures, screwed up her home page and slowed down the computer to 1994 speed. The second computer has numerous files that dissapered. Being totaly dissatisfied I asked for a refund and after talking to three supervisors was told the services were non refundable. When they first worked on my computer they put on my screen a long written notice and said to scroll down to the bottom and click on accept. The non refundable part is in that disclaimer. The whole deal is a sham scam. It is wrong for these people to use others names and bait and switch the customer who neees information. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
