I was contacted by Mike Smith with A-1 Cash advance who informed me that I was approved for $5000.00. i was then transferred to the loan office. I spoke with John White the loan office manager and he then stated that due to my credit rating that I must show good faith by showing that I'm able to make monthly payments of $290. He then ask me to load the payment of $290 on a dot money pack card which I did(should've been a red flag)....I called them back to let them know that I did load the funds. He said i should received the funds in my account within an hour. The hour pass and I still had not received the funds. I contact John back inquiring about the fundss and he states that they were unable to deliver the funds due to the check being distributed by GE Company from New York and that in order for me to received the funds I would have to pay an out state fee of $310. Which I happily declined. This is a SCAM, Please DO NOT GIVE A-1 CASH ADVANCE OR CASH NET USA ANY FUNDS. IF YOU ARE RECEIVING A LOAN FROM ANY COMPANY YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY MONEY UPFRONT.
