Purchased a one time search a couple of years ago. However, unnoticed was that they took an automatic "payment" from my credit card every three months. Embarrassed to say that it was not caught until this week (My wife takes care of this card and she simply thought I authorized the charge.

So I called to "cancel" this "subscription" and was directed to log-on to the site and cancel from there. I went to the site and used the "lost-password" feature to log on. It said I had no account to cancel. So I called and finally talked to a person who, after a silent period of "checking" informed me that they had just canceled my account. I informed them they had just taken a 3 month payment and tried to access and use the account to no avail. They told me that the payments were taken AFTER service rendered (ie for the previous three months) making them the only company with such a policy. Of course, they can always make that statement even though when I did use them, payment had to be up-front, there was no credit issued or offered on account.

These people are liars and cheats. Use them at your own risk. Give them your credit card number and there is no longer risk involved. They WILL cheat you.
