My credit card company emailed me a fraud alert. It turned out that on 9/26/13 Bellavani had attempted to charge my account $98 and some odd cents twice for a total of just under $197. My wife had last dealt with Bellavani around April 2013 for a free sample that required providing a credit card for the $4.95 shipping fee. That charge had posted 4/29/13. The 9/26 charge was out of the blue and without any authorization. There were several similar complaints listed on scambook for Bellavani. Fortunately my credit card company recognized the suspicious activity and declined the charges after I confirmed that they were fraudulent.
