I was looking for rental houses on Zillow and clicked on tab to contact property manager to show that I am interested. I got email from Mr. Lionel Stein as a landlord of that property I was looking into. He had all the facts and what is included for rent. I asked if I could see the house and he explained that he is in Florida and had to move for work couple months back. He asked me to drive by the property and if I am interested then we can start rental process. He sent me the application via email and I did that as well. He told me that I need to give security deposit to his personal assistant Marsha Bicknell before he can send over house keys and paperwork to my current residence. Then the day I was supposed to receive the keys, he emailed me and said that his wife is back and is upset that he did not ask for first month rental. He said that she called the courier service to hold it back until I pay first month rent. I got suspicious and then looked up both names on internet and found out about Marsha Bicknell through this website. I wish I checked before went ahead with it! Lesson learned here.
