I was in harsh financial difficulties a few months ago and yes I was desperate.
I came across merrywood loans and applied not knowing that they were going to deducte £69:95 (ENGLISH POUNDS)
I followed correctly what it says in their claim a refund section and sent a letter. Within 2days I had one back saying I would receive my refund in 2-3days. Its now been a month and I haven't has anything. I have phoned the company and the same woman keeps answering. She says there is a que in refunds. I believed her but now after going online I find out its a scam. I will now fight and do whatever it takes to get a refund from this company. I'm nkt to sure where to start. I know I need to set up a fraudulent claim with my bank and I have recorded every phone call I've had with this company. Do I go to my financial ombudsman now?
