Brought a 2008 Jeep wrangler Compass, approx. 6 weeks ago. Initially happy with vehicle, other than blowouts, to left rear tires, on separate occasions. Soon thereafter started developing manuvering, handling, and poor traction control, during wet weather. Thereafter, the alignment went off. the incidents were reported toDrivetime, who the directed to the warranty company Averix, who instructed me to take it to a in network warranty repair shop. The vehicle was taken there, on 10/1; and on 10/2, received a call, from the shop rep, who asked me if I had been, in a accident, with the vehicle. I stated no it hadn't. What was reported to me was that the rear carriage assembly, needed replacing, 3 tire rods needed to be replaced, a problem that was causing rapid wear of my tires. The shop had indicated to me, that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. Also it was pointed out to me that there was excessive rust, under the undercaariage, of the vehicle. The warranty company dnied claim, because the said the problem wasn't covered, under the warrany, and that the initial warranty, had elapsed. I couldn't get a satisfactory resolution, from any party, so I'm having the car picked up, for return to DriveTime, and stopping all future payments to them. The vehicle was made up cosmetically, for a sale, but it and DriveTime, have disappointed.
