Linda Barrett Smith, Florida, agreed to babysit my son one day when I was in a pinch. She claimed to have been a foster mother to many kids so I thought she would be a good neighbor to trust with my child for a few hours. I feel the injuries were too extensive to have been done by another child. But I can't prove it, so at the very least I can try to get her to pay his medical expenses.
