This guy sent an sms to buy my car listed on carsales, apparently showed hes working with Newzealand Oil and Gas on a project called KUPE.
15 days on and 15 off bla bla bla...couldn't call me for the same reason as phone facility wasnt available. Wanted to just go ahead with money transfer asking my paypal and bank account details.
I asked him about his drivers license number and verifiable adddress, he replied lic. no. 1683524 and add: 14 Kurrajong Crescent Nightcliff, Northern Territory 0810 Australia.
Guy is a complete fake, i will report this to VIC police and banks on the next working day!
So be safe be secure!
Never give any details to someone you haven't seen also watch out if someone sends email from gmail. That should be the 1st level of doubt coz Gmail proxies senders IP and location!.
