I received a very official looking letter in the mail as well, same as other people posting on here. I unfortunately did not google them, read the fine print, or call my dealer prior to calling. To note, I have a car that has a 60k bumper to bumper warranty and a 100k power train warranty already, and i have only 20k miles on it. If you get a letter, do the research first before wasting your time with these people on the phone!

The sales people are very aggressive. They speak very fast and immediately want a deposit then a monthly payment. It was 150 up front totaling 2700 dollars throughout the next two years. He made it sound like this was absolutely necessary. I asked if they were from my car manufacturer, and they said no but 'work with them to get me the best coverage that is possible...citing that times are hard and I couldn't afford not have the coverage to cover the costs of repairing on my own.'

When you say you need to think about it, they will offer you the sun and stars to get you to sign up with them, offering all sorts of discounts that weren't available to you at the time you called.... When i attempted to let them go , the connected me to someone even more aggressive who wouldn't let me off the phone to think about it. He got me down to 80 dollars a month for the next 24 months, a 'friends and family discount'...but never went into detail on what was covered. After several attempts of me 'nicely' letting them, I eventually had to hang up on them in the middle of them trying to reroute me to buy.

I'm not sure what their coverage does offer and actually how good it is...the fact is for me it was completely unnecessary and they orchestrated it like it was. Very sneaky.
