We called thinking we were getting Dell support and one of our computers wouldn't accept the password so we were virtually locked out. The support person said he would need to get into both our computers, and showed on one that it had been "hacked" and circled in red those items that had been - just like another complaint that I just saw. So he said he could fix this and then it would take care of the other computer. The cost for the first one was $199.99, but we got a deal for the 2nd it was only $149.99. So they took over control of both computers, and while they did fix them - we saw later that the amount we paid was only for 3 months. They also inferred that this would take care of all of our computers.

- Hi Sharon, I just had the same thing happen to me TODAY, October 30. Was wondering if your computer was compromised in any way by them going in remotely like they did to me, too. That is my concern. I also think I may have stopped them from charging the $199.99. Or if you did anything else that I should do. I am so mad at myself!
