A telemarketer contacted me about Lippo slim and Clense products that are SUPPOSEDto help you lose weight faster. They PROMISED delivery in time to fit into trial period and that I COULD CALL TO EXTEND THE TRIAL PERIOD ONCE THE PRODUCT ARRIVED. On the last day of the trial period I had still NOT RECEIVED THE PRODUCT. I phoned the number they had given me and was informed that: THE TRIAL PERIOD WAS OVER AND I WOULD JUST HAVE TO PAY THE BILL. I CALLED BACK WHEN THE PRODUCT ARRIVED: the other operator said that i could keep the product since it was paid. I wanted to return it since THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THE TRIAL period. Then I was told there would be a 12.xx$ restocking fee per bottle, none of this was mentioned in the sales pitch. The operator finally gave me the return info and mentioned that all this info was available on their site (another info which was not provided at the first call). On the site it stated that trial periods were 18 days, so if I could return the stuff on this day Friday, it would make it just in time it was 4h18, there were still 6 cars ahead, and I thought the PO closed at 4h30, that's what I was thinking when I went to the PO before the border guard. THERE SHOULD BE A LAW AGAINST SCAMMERS LIKE THIS COMPANY. I WAS ALSO DETAINED AT THE BORDER FOR 2 HOURS, had to pay a significant deposit on the 5000.00$ fine and have 30 days to come up with the rest. My husband died in May this year, I had breast cancer which metastasized in my bones. Losing weight is recommended. I DID NOT NEED THIS EXTRA STRESS AND FINANCIAL BURDEN CAUSED BY THIS (Inappropriate Content Removed) company. The only thing they cleanse is your pocket. 93.00$ for product and delivery+ because i tried to mail it under the deadline and went to PO prior customs, I now face a 5000.00$ pending penalty.
