Just want to warn anyone who is renting out property. I was the victim of a consumer scam. They sold me a Landlord's Policy when I rented out my house. When the tenants moved, I discovered they had done at least $26,000 worth of damage, installing T-1-11 siding inside the rooms, holes in ceilings, water damage, broken ceiling fans, etc. The insurance adjustor said NOTHING THE TENANT DID WAS COVERED. Apparently it is good for nothing! If you have rental property, be sure you know what you are covered for under your "landlord's policy" as it sure doesn't cover anything the tenant does unless you have expensive riders, which they never advised me were even available. Lost my home because it was no longer worth what I owed.
