I submitted an application for a replacement SS card on Sept. 25, sent it via registered mail to the address listed on the website, and now find out that the address I mailed the application to was a local SS office. When I called GovServices to track the status of the application, I found out then that the $39 I paid them was just to use their website to fill out the application. Now I have to go to the local SS office to get my application processed. What a SCAM -- they should be shut down immediately!!!
