they offered a year of a half page advertisement in the magazine with 5 times changing the add. They didn't tell me that it will be only 6 magazines in a year. But it is not a main issue. They supposed to have the magazines placed in the Century City Gelson's store with a lot of foot traffic etc., plus they told me that it will be advertised during the preview times at the AMC theatre, so I took the deal. They messed up on the first delivery ( placed the magazine in the different area - 60 miles away), after contacting them numerous times and calling my bank to file a dispute, they sent me an apologetic letter extending my contract for another free month. It was a big hustle all along trying to get them to make changes in my adds and i was just creating and doing the job for them and then they couldn't even copy it... There was no advertisement at the AMC, no magazine view online either... After 3 magazines I kind of stoped worry about it... I had other things to do then just keep fighting the advertising company. I remembered about the contract and read all the small print there and sent them an e-mail to make sure they will not continue charging me for the next year, they told me that I could make changes in my add and it will be published in October=November issue 2013. After several e-mails I created again the new add myself and submitted it. The delivery should be made to the store within the first week of the month. I went to Gelson's market in Century City to check on a new magazine on the 11th of October only to find out from the store manager that this company had not been delivering magazines there for few months now.
I made few phone calls today to the company and did not get any answers: the operator kept placing me on hold and hung up on me or sent me to a no Mail Box answer. The email I wrote to them was not delivered either. I feel humiliated and really taken advantage of. This company has no values or simple business manners... I got ripped off...
