I received a phone call stating that I was submitted to a Loss Prevention Department. I asked what company was calling me and was told from Smart Shoppers Savings Club. I asked what she meant about being over due for $94.00. I told her this was a scam as I have never received any services from the company. She said she could do me a favor and knock down the bill today to $70.00. I told her I wasn't paying anything for nothing. She said online I paid $1.20 to start the service and haven't paid since. I told her a year or so ago I click onto an add online and then realized it was a scam and unsubscribed and called VISA to stop and cancel any charges coming to my account. VISA did so and advised I should unsubscribe from any email advertisements coming through from them. The Smart Shoppers representative said wheter I received any services, that since I did not call them directly, I still owe them the money. I disagree.
