I was searching Amazon for good deals on North Face jackets. At the bottom of the page a site indicated 70% off and I fell prey to ordering from it. The site looked official but something just didn't feel right when my account showed 2 different orders. One indicated "payment failed" and the other "pending". No contact info other than via email. I received an email from sslbillpay.com confirming my order # and that the payment would go through in 24 hours. Something didn't feel right so I googled ssl bill pay and found that it was a company that serviced companies in China that sell knock off items. I didn't find complaints on shoppingnorthfaceonline per se but tons for north face outlet or cheap north face. I QUICKLY called Chase to block the charge. I ended up just closing the account. I know identity theft is running rampid and now know about Chinese scams. I forgot the rule of thumb "if it seems to good to be true it probably is". Just wanted to alert the next guy/gal
