EHS called one of our exhibiting companies telling them there were only 5 rooms left and that they needed to book soon. After our vendor grilled the guy they deduced it may be a scam and call us.
We immediately called the hotel, subsequently the sheriff's department with a call to the BBB being made shortly.
We are not sure how EHS obtained our vendors name and contact info. We are assuming via a 2013 onsite conference guide and/or our website.
