Dear Caroline

I am just touching base to ask if you have spoken to your campaign manager or a senior person in OfferX, to see if they can assist in this matter. I am seeking a refund of $159.00USD from BUYSUPP to be posted on my credit card. My wife and I have been unfairly treated by this seller by the trickery used to make a sale, using the OfferX site. In addition, the Garcinia Cambogia Extract (Retail Price: $159.00 (with a line drawn through it), Your Price: $0.00 and Just Pay Postage: $2.95), that was estimated to arrive on 19 October 2013 has not been received. You advised me that, “We take this matter very seriously and I have forwarded your email across to our campaign manager who will be able to pause any campaigns we are currently running with them, if required.”

Could you please reply to my email and advise me if your campaign manager or a senior person in OfferX has taken steps to pause any campaigns OfferX is running with BUYSUPP and/or have contacted them in relation to my complaint?

Kind regards,

Dear Caroline

I have been informed by ME Bank that the payment of $159.00 USD was posted on my MasterCard by BUYSUPP on Friday 18/10/2013 at 10.48am. I made the payment of $2.95 on Tuesday 15/10/2013 at 10.47am. In your email dated 18/10/2013 4.36am (the second email that I received from you), you advised “I have forwarded a copy of your email to this email address and can confirm that it is a working email address.” I spoke to a girl called Nicki on the BUYSUPP number in Sydney 02 84172108 this morning ( I finally spoke to a person) and told her of the history of this matter and that I wanted the transaction cancelled and the $159.00 USD taken off my credit card. She was given all details that she asked for and she spoke to my wife as Mary has the internet account in her name. I pay for internet purchases as the credit card is in my name. I advised her that I had been told by ME Bank that I should lodge an electronic transaction dispute and I had taken that advice and lodged that particular form. She then said that she could do nothing about the situation as I had referred the dispute to ME Bank. I told her that you had forwarded my original email to BUYSUPP that cancelled the trial and it appears that you forwarded it in the 3 day period. She repeated that ME Bank has the dispute and then the call dropped out. I did not bother to call back due to the time that it takes to speak to customer service officer.

My wife and I are on aged pensions and the $159.00 USD is a lot of money to us. The BUYSUPP Offer read, Retail Price: $159.00 (with a line drawn through it), Your Price: $0.00 and Just Pay Postage: $2.95. This is just trickery to force a sale. In any case my email of cancellation may have reached BUYSUPP through your forwarding of that email. ME Bank have told me if the dispute is settled between the buyer and seller it is the easiest and quickest way to resolve the matter.

Caroline, if this is the case could you please speak to your campaign manager or a senior person in OfferX, to see if they can help us in this matter. I am now seeking a refund of $159.00USD from BUYSUPP to be posted on the credit card. My wife and I have been unfairly treated by this seller that uses the OfferX site.

Kind regards,

Dear Caroline

Thank you for your reply. Yes I did email [email protected] and I am giving you a copy:

“Customer Support

I have tried calling Sydney Australia on 02 84172108 however I only get a recorded message to phone between business hours, 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Today is Monday and the time is 10.13am Queensland Australia time. It is 11.13am in Sydney Australia. I am calling during your business hours but I only get a recorded message. In view of the circumstances I must send an email to you.

I am advising that I am canceling my trial during the 3 day period which commenced at 10.47am on Tuesday 15 October 2013 Queensland Australian time. I made the cancellation inside the 3 day period to cancel the trial. I have been informed by ME Bank that a pending transaction of $159.00 USD has been already placed on my credit card in spite of the fact that I was within the trial period. I am forwarding all information to ME Bank for their attention. I have also contacted OfferX about this matter. There is no need for you to make the shipment of the Extract that you estimated to arrive by October 19, 2013.

I repeat that I do not wish to purchase the Garcinia Cambogia Extract from you and I demand that you cancel that pending transaction of $159.00 USD that you have placed on my credit card.

Regards,

(Personal Information Removed)

As you can see you can not even get to talk with anyone from BUYSUPP in Sydney during their stated business hours. The email address of [email protected] for BUYSUPP works, however I do not receive any replies from them. I also forwarded my original email on [email protected] yesterday. I called ME Bank Fraud and Disputes Department and asked them to try and contact BUYSUPP during business hours if simply to prove that it is almost impossible to speak to a representative let alone cancel an order during a trial period. I would ask you to forward this latest information to your campaign manager for his information and attention. This seller is ruining the relationship that my wife has had with Offerx in relation to your competitions over the last 5 years. Please advise you campaign manager of this current situation.

Thank you for your help Caroline,

Kind regards,

Dear Caroline,

Thank you for forwarding a copy of your email to the alternative email address for me.

Img205 attached clearly reads Retail Price $159.00 (with a line drawn through it, meaning deleted), Your price $0.00 and Just Pay Postage $2.95. To the average man in the street that particular wording means that this offer is a free trial with the expectation of the buyer buying and paying for more of the Extract if the product works and the buyer is satisfied with the results. The information contained at the bottom of img203 specifying that a person must cancel within 3 days from the date of enrollment or they will be billed a one time cost of $159.00, should have been placed in img205 so that the potential buyer could see that “Your price $0.00” was in fact not the case if the buyer had decided to purchase the extract. Also, the buyer would then know that the purchase cost would be $159.00 and could decide then and there whether to proceed with the purchase. Img 206 displays the headline “Success! Your submission has been approved! You will now be accepted to try any of the following products.” All of the 5 products displayed have the “Retail Price (with a line drawn through it, meaning deleted)”, and “Your price $0.00.” It infers that the only cost to the buyer is the postage. To the average man in the street that particular wording and display would indicate trickery by the seller.

I have been forced to cancel my MasterCard on the advice of ME Bank as I have given all of my credit card details to BUYSUPP. I trusted this seller for the reason that it operated on the OfferX site and my wife has been entering your competitions for some time.

I would ask you to forward this email across to your campaign manager so that that person is aware of my comments and my experience in dealing with BUYSUPP. I have also sent my original email, containing the cancellation of the product during the trial period, to the alternative email address, earlier today.

Thank you once again Caroline for your kind assistance and help in this matter.

Kind regards,

Hello (Personal Information Removed)

Thank you for coming back to me with below and I am once again very sorry to hear of the problems you have experienced whilst taking part in an offer on the OfferX site.

I have looked into this matter further for you and found the Buysupp website which provides alternative contact details.

http://buysupp.com/

The email address on the website is [email protected], I have forwarded a copy of your email to this email address and can confirm that it is a working email address.

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards

Caroline

Dear Caroline

Thank you for returning my email. I have sent you another email this morning and if you read that email you will see I have advised that that telephone number does not work. You hear a message saying “You cannot be connected, please check the number and try again.” I have been trying to call this number for the past 2 days. It appears to me that BUYSUPP has taken steps so that they cannot be contacted in this type of situation. Please read all of the attachments and you will see the trickery used by BUYSUPP and how serious this matter is. The email address to contact BUYSUPP only returns my emails saying Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender. I have until 10.47am today to contact BUYSUPP to cancel the transaction and the telephone does not work. Would you try calling that number and see if you can get through and advise BUYSUPP that I want to cancel and would they call me. I realise that you cannot cancel on my behalf. However by phoning that number it will prove to you that it does not work.

Can you send me an email number that can reach BUYSUPP because the email they have posted to contact them only returns my emails. If OfferX is taking this matter seriously I would expect that with your resources you help me by providing me with an email address that works for BUYSUPP. Please try to find that email address and send it to me. I have until 10.47am today to contact BUYSUPP.

Kind regards,

Hello (Personal Information Removed)

Thank you for your email and I am very sorry to hear of this problem you have experienced.

We are, of course, concerned that this amount is showing as a 'pending transaction' on your credit card prior to the 3 day cancellation period has expired. Unfortunately as this this a third party offer we are unable to cancel this for you on your behalf.

I can see on one of the attachments you sent that there is a telephone number to call to cancel, I would suggest that you call this number (1-888-373-3911) and ask to cancel your subscription.

We take this matter very seriously and I have forwarded your email across to our campaign manager who will be able to pause any campaigns we are currently running with them, if required.

I am very sorry I couldn't have been of more help and I hope you manage to resolve this with them.

Kind Regards

Caroline

Dear OfferX,

WITHOUT PREJUDICE

I have tried to send the following message to BUYSUPP using the email address of [email protected] without success, as the address does not work. I am now sending a copy of my message to you.

“ Dear Proper Officer,

I am advising that I am canceling my trial during the 3 day period which commenced at 10.47am on Tuesday 15 October 2013 Queensland Australian time. At present the time is 11.45 am on Wednesday 16 October 2013 Queensland Australian time so I am well inside the 3 day period to cancel the trial. I have been informed by ME Bank that a pending transaction of $159.00 USD has been already placed on my credit card in spite of the fact that only 25 hours has elapsed. I am forwarding all information to ME Bank for their attention. There is no need for you to make the shipment of the Extract that you estimated to arrive by October 19, 2013.

In short, I do not wish to purchase the Garcinia Cambogia Extract from you and I demand that you cancel that pending transaction of $159.00 USD that you have placed on my credit card.

Regards,

(Personal Information Removed)

I have now been forced to cancel my credit card as I have given all the card’s details to BUYSUPP including the security number on the back of the card. I am attaching the “Deals” and “Additional Offers” that are posted on the OfferX site. In particular, Garcinia Cambogia, Retail Price $159.00 (with a line drawn through it), Your Price $0.00, Just Pay Postage $2.95. I paid the $2.95 by credit card, after giving all the card’s details to BUYSUPP and I received a receipt for that amount. I later find that BUYSUPP has put a pending transaction of $159.00 USD without my authority. I agreed only to $2.95 as stated in the “Additional Offers” posted on the OfferX site.

I feel that I have been tricked with this “Additional Offer”, namely “Your Price $0.00, Just Pay Postage $2.95”, and I want your help in having the pending transaction of $159.00 USD placed on my credit card, without my authority, removed. In view of the trickery of this “Additional Offer”, I do not want the product.

In view of the circumstances, I am asking OfferX to resolve this matter by taking steps to cancel my transaction.

Kind regards,
