I have been called by a representative of Princeton to be listed in a top100 executive publication. Asked for career details, wanted to discuss track record, goals. Long description on what they offer, blabla.
After a couple of minutes I have been offered a membership for a lifetime or for 5 years, for different prices (600USD as I remember). the guy asked for credit card details.
when I declined to give data and asked for email confirmation the guy changed tone, saying I dont understand that they are a publishing company and they dont email back and forth. he gave another offer for 2 years membership for appr. 300 USD. I repeated that I dont give out my credit card details, and the guy suddenly disappeared. Music was on.
