I bought a Samsung s4 from verizon that they were advertising for 600$$.
When I got to the verizon store the phone was marked as 650$$ with 50$$ rebate.
I bought the phone and filled all the paper work for the rebate. After 2 months I did not receive the rebate even though I had all the right documentation sent to them.
Today I called to see why I still have not received the rebate and after 30 minutes of holding and talking to machines they informed me that even though all the paper work is in order they need a third party verification.
I asked what is meaning of third party verification and they
informed me that if you buy the phone from a reseller of Verizon
They need to verify the purchase. What a bunch of lies. I purchased the phone from a verizon corporate store and they ask for a copy of the receipt to be sent to them.They are counting on since most of us do not have enough time we will not go after the rebate .
Any way they suppose to send me a Visa card with 50$$ credit in it.
Even this is calculated , why don't they just send us a check? God I hate corporate America .
