I too thought I was signing up to a £4.95 trial sample of their Day & Night cream.I ordered on 1st October 2013. When I received the item there was no paperwork or anything with it - just the sample. I expected some kind of introductary letter or details of where to return the product if I was unhappy with it. On October 15th (exactly 14 days after I placed the order online) £99 was deducted from the same card I used to pay for the sample. Note that the amount at which you can ask for reimbursement from your card company is £100, hence the £99 cost. I was under the impression I had only authorised one payment of £4.95 and that I had 14 days to try the product - it took over a week to arrive. I could not find any way to contact them to tell them to cancel the order. It was on the card statement but I only received this after they had taken the £99 from my account. How is that legal?
