To Whom It May Concern:
Hello I would like to inform you of my recent issues with Direct Alternatives. The company advertises a weight loss pill "free of charge" just pay for shipping and return the product if you don't like it. They send you 2 bottle, an invoice, and a brochure which I have included as attachments in this email.
The trial period has ended and I decided not to continue to use the product. I call the help line and Eleanor ID # 6616 answered. I told her I did not like the product, she asked me if I opened the other bottle and was going to suggest that I try those pills. I told her I already did and they worked the same. She informed me that since I opened both bottles of the product that I am unable to return the product and must pay $74.99 for the total order. I asked where the paper work was that says I can not open both bottles. On the satisfaction guarantee it states "return any unused product" which is very misleading considering I had a lot of unused product but it must be "unopened" in order to return it. After putting up a fight she reduces the amount to $34.99, at this point I ask to speak to her supervisor. She asks me why and I told her about the misleading product guide. She informs me that the customer service department does not talk to the marketing department and that speaking to him would be irrelevant. I know that this is a lie and once again ask to speak again. She informs me that he is to busy to talk but he heard my concerns, his name was Dennis and she was unable to give me an ID number. She then reduces the price to $19.95 and says they must get paid. I eventually gave in after she became very rude.
