My brother is a full time college student applying for FASFA and accidently came across http://www.fafsa-application.com/ their website and did application process not knowing that that it’s not the actual government website http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. At my school I was articulated that I used a wrong website to fill out my application. Upon my arrival at home I made a call within 24hrs of the transaction on 08/23/2013 to the seller notifying the transaction was by accident and I want to withdraw away from the transaction. Customer service agreed to refund me the money within in 3 to 4 business days. After waiting for approximately 4 days I contact the seller http://www.fafsa-application.com/ for an update on refund and at that moment I was notified that the amount of 88.00 might not be refunded and was told that my file was in process for review for a refund and I will be notified via mail or I can access my account to check the status of application. While I was waiting for a response via mail, I have checked my account online to see the status about 3-4 times. After waiting for about 2 weeks and no response I have filed a dispute against the seller http://www.fafsa-application.com/ for a full refund. I haven’t received anything from them. They are saying that I checked their website again and again it was their instruction for the status. The number on which I contacted is 877-207-3050.
