I had some expensive and somewhat unique antiques (really only be interesting to antique dealers or interior decorators) listed on Craigslist for $3000 or best offer. This Kelly Gaddy contacted me and asked for my personal email address and the absolute lowest price I would go to. I ignored the request for my personal email address and sent her a price.

Later she wrote back and gave me the email address [email protected] and asked again for my email address. She said she was very interested in buying, but please email her from my address. I did and repeated my price, offered to let her see the items to see if she was still interested, and insisted that I would need payment via PayPal.

After I received the following response I decided that this person was a complete scammer, sketch ball, and just creepy.
Do not trust. Luckily no meeting or money exchange has occurred.

"Thanks for your response, Am currently looking for a gift for my son
this makes me respond to your add. However, Am with the U.S Navy and
currently station in NAS Lemoore. but i have an agent who will handle
the shipment to my son after payment have been clear your account.
Therefore, i need to be sure of its current condition and i can only
pay you through pay pal because its safe and secure for transaction
like this and since i will not be able to come for pick up, i guess
that is the only way i can do this. Do you have anything specific you
can tell me about it and i want you to send me an email stating that
along with your pay pal email address for me to make the payment but
if you don't have an account with pay pal, you can log on to
www.paypal.com and sign up within 5 mins. Hope to hear from you soon."
